[ It takes Lambert a while to show up, and it's not surprising why -- half of his body is stone and he now weighs a damn lot more than he's used to. Managing not to fall over when he tries his usual swagger means moving with exaggerated care, though having taken a nap earlier today, he's in much better spirits than before. He's found a tunic to pull over his head, but he's given up on pants, so he's flashing a good bit of stone thigh as he wobbles into wardrobe, raising a hand in greeting. ]

Hey. [ Hopefully, if she notices he's slightly out of breath, she won't comment on it. ]

[That....is certainly a good reason to take some time. She has to bite her tongue not to comment- as it is, the wide eyes say plenty about her thoughts. It's delayed....but-] AH! Hey! [She greets, looking a bit frantically to each side of the tent before spotting the dummy she'd 'dressed up'. RIGHT, YES, THERE THEY ARE-] Ah-m!

Right, here! After you said what you needed, I thought this might be perfect..~ It's actually traditional where I came from, so it was pretty easy to pull together on the spot... [That is not why, nor was it easy-]

[ It would take a denser man than Lambert to miss the look on Carly's face, but he's relieved she doesn't press it. But then that leaves the matter of the outfit she's laid out for him, which he scrutinizes with a quizzical eye. ]

Sorcerer robes are traditional where you come from? [ Lambert is a regular bastion of cultural sensitivity or refinement, to no one's surprise. Still, it looks a lot less frumpy than the robes he's seen before. ]

[Wat] Sorcerors? These are traditional Japanese clothes! It used to be what everyone wore, but these days they're used more for relaxing at inns, or at festivals~

They're nice and light and airy, so perfect for now right?

Oh. [ From Lambert's blank stare, it's clear the name doesn't ring any sort of a bell. Portland Lambert would have known, of course, but sadly he didn't retain any of that potentially useful knowledge. ]

Relaxing sounds about what I could use right now. [ He looks it over, squinting. It's certainly festive... with a shrug, he's just going to grab for the hem of his shirt. ]

Not that hard to put on, is it?

It's pretty easy~! Men's kimono are easiest, honestly....women have a pretty complicated knot to deal with at the back, so it's tricky for us to do that alone, but for men's wear, even the formal stuff can go on without trouble...

It's sort of like putting a bathrobe on, really!

Women's clothes are always more complicated.

[ One of the many reasons Lambert's glad he isn't a woman. Anyway, he sure is taking his clothes off, loosening it enough to slip the tunic over his head and free of his horns. Underneath, his skin is as scarred as ever, but the new addition is the stone that begins around midbelly, starting as patches of rock that form seamlessly into his legs. The effect's still a bit like Lambert might have dipped himself into molten rock and come out with a fresh new stone coating, though it moves with an unsettlingly lifelike animation.

No eerily photorealistic stone dick, though. Carly's spared at least that. ]

Yeah....yeah that's true a lot of the time... [Not all. You don't go through this many dimensions and still say 'all'. As it is, by the time she's done muttering, Lambert is pulling his tunic off-the woman hurriedly breaks into stammering and stuttering, turning around with a slight yelp as she covers her eyes. No stone dicks either, NOT TODAY, LAMBERT-] H-HEEIIHHHHH!!

S-Some warning!! I get that you're covered in rocks, but it's still stripping!!

It's nothing you haven't seen before! [ Well -- sort of. He did run around in little enough in Alola to let an overactive imagination fill some of the gaps in. He's snickering, though, which means he's almost certainly partly doing this to rile Carly up, but all right, now ... time for the moment of truth, here.
